# Function: normalizeLegacyEnv()

Normalizes a legacy MRT environment ([MrtEnvironment](../type-aliases/MrtEnvironment.md)) into a
[MrtEnvironmentView](../interfaces/MrtEnvironmentView.md), carrying the legacy-only configuration fields
(hostname, external host/domain, cookies, source maps, log level, proxies) so
the shared view keeps the detail the old per-command printers showed.
