# Function: resolveClientAuthMethod()

Resolves the effective client authentication method. An explicit method
always wins; otherwise a sandbox credential placeholder selects
`basic-unencoded` (so the proxy can find it in the header) and everything
else uses `basic`.

### clientSecret

`string`

The OAuth client password/secret

### method?
